The best of professionals
Stephen Scott has been promoting hotels, resorts and destinations to North America for over twenty years. With that extensive background in tourism, Stephen has brought an array of knowledge, experience and success to independent hotel companies throughout the world. Stephen started his career in the travel industry as a hotel sales representative in the late 1980s promoting various Caribbean resorts. In 2004 Stephen transitioned to the Sunset Resorts Group. Stephen brought to Sunset Resorts pro-active and innovative hotel sales and marketing ideas. In order to expand product knowledge when covering a very large territory he introduced e-marketing and sales techniques through the application of up to date technologies which directly and positively affected his employer's bottom-line. As the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sunset Resorts Jamaica, Stephen led with the goal of increasing revenues and brand knowledge. He expanded sales in new market areas while developing an enormous up-to-date industry contact database and network. Many colleagues and industry professionals have recognized Stephen as a self-motivated effective hands-on leader with excellent sales and marketing skills. Stephen is a graduate of the University of Arizona, Summa cum Laude, History/Pre-Law and speaks Italian. Stephen is proud of his Irish heritage and adores Ireland: its culture, music and food. In the Irish tradition Stephen relishes laughter, good friends and a great pint every now and then.
Stephanie has been an IT professional for more than 20 years. She began her career in research at the University of Arizona then moved into the private sector working for an array of universities and financial institutions. Her experience ranges from data management/analysis, database administration, database design, programming and social media marketing. Stephanie joined HoteliersFriend in 2014 and since then she has been managing the technological aspects of our company: administering our database, facilitating e-mailing services, web-trainings, surveys and social media distribution. Stephanie loves to travel to exotic destinations and is thrilled to have the opportunity to apply her expertise to the travel industry.
Rory joined our team in 2014. Rory is responsible for all company related web activities (i.e., website development and maintenance; collateral material design and development; and, all photography and graphics). He is also in charge of all client related video production. Rory is a graduate of the University of Michigan and speaks fluent Italian. He is a passionate food and film connoisseur; and, a world-class musician.
